As a follow up to my previous post of "Comes The Dawn", and, the rush of excitement that comes with a new morning on the pond, thought I should share the other end of the spectrum.
In The Still Of The Night
It has been another blessed day on the Front Range in Colorado..................
Your at peace............
You, the fish, and water have come together.................
In total serenity.........
Let us rest............
For soon it will be..............
In the still of the night...............
I can't keep up... you are always changing things around! Never a dull moment with you... So, let me tell you about serenity at Henry's Lake... Gorgeous sunset. Still water. Remembering the fish of today. Hoping for more tomorrow. = )
ReplyDeleteEmily, you will soon realize when you get too Geezer age, that changing routines help the mind. Same ol' same ol' will depress you quicker than you know and then you end up in the old folks home. No, I am not dull. Most things I do is to amuse myself..............
DeleteI read you are up in or on some of my home waters. I miss them. I have had many serene evenings on Henrys Lake thinking about those big Brookies that hang off the mouths of Timber Creek, etc, etc. Can't wait to see you in action!
The both of you are something else. Can't find Emily, she's out running around the country somewhere. Can't find Mel, he changed his address. Thanks for letting me know you old restless geezer.
ReplyDeleteNo changes here, Howard...............
DeleteEmily finally took 5 minutes to check in. Would you rather be fishin' or reading Mel's blog..........................?
Not much debate there....................
BTW, who you calling Geezer, you ol' Geezer?
I dig it... I think. I'm actually not sure what's going on. Keep keepin' us on our toes Mel!
ReplyDeleteMorning, Mike!
DeleteThanks for the compliment....I think.
Just changed the blog title, but, not the link.
Trying to put a little value into some of the other amenities that make up the fishin' scene we all live in.
Thanks for visiting and commenting as always.
Geez, Howard, now you went and got Mike all confused.................................
"In the still of the night". Would make a good song.

Could be talking about a fishing rod.
Or a big ol' trout caught on a mouse pattern after dark! Thanks, Mark, for cuing up a great one from the past. Much appreciated.
DeleteWe Fishers are a clever bunch of folks................................
Mel one does not have to read between the lines on this one.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Alan. When we all choose a serene time and place and it all comes together, so to speak, those are the times we never forget.....................
